free trial ($20 for shipping and return) - 5 days with 5 mos (money operators, money movers)
you place a $500 security deposit and pay the shipping
we send you 5 mos and a set of cards (25)
you have them for 5 days (or so) and then
you let us know what you want to do .....
you can return them, or rent them for a while (at $100 a week, so they're yours in ten), or buy 5 and order more.
These mos are money operators from General Information Systems Ltd, Cambridge, UK -
http://www.gis.co.uk. They are the "moving" parts of the cc card system - the devices that move cc from one card to another. All you need for a primitive multi-currency system are cards to hold the currencies and mos to move the currencies between the cards.
The initial price to system developers is us$200 per unit (1 mo and 10 cards) plus taxes, shipping, and a 10% surcharge for the cc card development program). However, the manufacturing cost will drop substantially as the volume of orders rises, to allow a unit price of us$100. In order to encourage the pioneers, we are introducing a pricing design that ensures everyone gets an opening price of $100 in the end, even those who are first off the mark, and order when the basic cost is still high.
Every mo you purchase at $200 will get you another later, if, when you pay, you add a purchase order for a third (or more) at $100 when that price is available.
What is comes to is 3 mos for $300 us at the outset, and more for less later. The faster orders are placed, the faster prices will drop.
5 days and 5 mos - what to do?
The main points you can make to the business community are outlined here.
All this is made possible by the generous participation of the first (unincorporated) bank of smarts
