PER-5 Complex problems/simple solutions November 26th, 1985
Complex problems and simple solutions.
The relationship between problem and solution is always
complex and simple.
Problems are essentially opaque; that's the very thing about
a problem, you don't know what to do.
When you do know what to do, ... no problem.
A solution is thus always simple, resolving the complexity
and making the situation manageable.
Sometimes it is so simple, and the apparent problem so
complex, that one is tempted to dismiss it out of hand.
Too good to be true.
How sad, to use such an idea to reject such an idea.
